3 different grades of non woven "scotch brite" cleaning and buffing pads. These pads are commercial grade. They are 325mm in diameter, and 25mm thick. They fit Osmo's FloorXcentre machine, as well as other smaller, industrial grade floor polishing machines. Each colour represents a different coarsness and has a different use.
These pads can also be cut with scissors or a sharp knife to fit any shape of random orbital sander. The base of the sander needs to be velcro receptive so the pads will adhere. The sander can then be used to buff smaller items such as furniture etc.
White pad: The least abrasive of the pads. For light cleaning and removal of day to day dirt and stains, when using a liquid detergent such as Osmo's Wash and Care. Also designed for buffing faded or dull areas with floor polishes - such as Osmo's Liquid Wax Cleaner.
Red pad: Slightly more abrasive than the white pad, and suitable for removing especially stubborn stains. For the trade, the red pad is suitable for light sanding / de-nibbing between coats.
Green Pad: The coarsest of the pads, and is not for general cleaning purposes. It is used more like sandpaper, to remove bad scratches and marks that day to day cleaning can't remove. It is also for use to scuffing back the top layer of Polyx Oil etc prior to applying a rejuvenation coat.
