In December 2025 Bailey Wood took over the operations of Natural Oils. Bailey is the current owner of Osmo New Zealand 2025 Limited. After 7 years experience specifying and supplying Osmo products, the opportunity to acquire the business came up and Bailey took on the challenge. With a background in painting and decorating, followed by 10 years of sales and operational experience, Bailey is excited to lead Osmo New Zealand and Natural Oils forward.

Richard Lawton was the previous owner of Natural Oils. Over 25 years ago, he saw the need for more environmentally friendly timber finishes, and in 1997 started Natural Oils Ltd as the NZ Distributor for Organoil Timber Finishes from Australia. In 2006, Osmo products were added to the inventory. In 2012 the Organoil franchise was sold, enabling Natural Oils Ltd to concentrate on Osmo products.
